Toledo was rescued yesterday (4/23) after a woman noticed several men beating her while she hid under a van and, after chasing the men away, called our director. Based on not only her injuries but the condition of her nails, we suspect that she had been used as a bait dog. When her rescuer pulled her out from underneath the van, she wagged her tail and gave him kisses.
